Fr. Frank was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, where he studied industrial engineering. After earning an MS in operations research at Northeastern U. in Boston, he returned to Mexico and worked three years at a major manufacturing corporation. In 1983, he moved to Houston for the first time, working ten years as the head of MIS for a small chemical company. He then worked another ten years as an independent IT consultant in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Fr. Frank moved to the Eternal City in 2003, where he finished his studies in theology and obtained a doctorate in philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in 2008. Ordained to the priesthood for the Prelature of Opus Dei in 2007 he began his pastoral with two short stints of a few months in Valencia, Spain, and in New York City, before spending several years in Miami. In 2011, he returned to Houston and was the chaplain at Western Academy for 6 years until he recently became the new Director of Holy Cross Chapel.
